Through years of childhood loneliness and obsessive thinking about Lord of the Rings, Bailey Holtz has refined her hard-to-understand and having-limited-appeal comedy. She likes everything that is not current and has no practical application or following. For instance, Disco and Existential philosophy.
Bailey grew up in Zürich, Switzerland, so she speaks one of the least useful languages in the world, Swiss-German. At the tender age of sixteen, she moved back to the States, and attended Georgetown University. After graduating, Bailey got involved in improv at UCB in New York, then moved to Chicago to attend the Harold Ramis Film School at Second City. She has been riddled with anxiety throughout this entire process, including the writing of this paragraph.
